The Town of Town of Milan has a community and history that is as rich as its stunning natural surroundings. 


County: Coös County, frequently spelled Coos County, is a county in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. As of the 2020 census, the population was 31,268, the least of any New Hampshire county. The county seat is Lancaster.


Population: (2010 Census) 1337


Origin: First named Paulsbourg in 1771, after Paul Wentworth, the governor's cousin.

Education: The School Administrative Unit # 20 provides administrative support for the educational professionals in the school districts of Dummer, Errol, Milan, and The Gorham Randolph Shelburne Cooperative.


Milan has one school. Milan Village School. It is open for children attending Kindergarten through sixth grade, 2010 New Hampshire Elementary School of Excellence. There are approximately 128 students enrolled. Students in grades 7-12 attend Berlin Junior-Senior High School. The nearest colleges are White Mountains Community College Berlin.
